
John D. Moorehouse, M.D., FACEP
President, ER Med; Chairman of Department, Baptist Medical Center, Montgomery
Dr. Moorehouse is known for setting a higher standard of emergency medicine in Alabama. He has been board certified in Emergency Medicine since 1983, and has served on many committees for the advancement of medicine during his career. Dr. Moorehouse served for several years as the Chairman of the ECC Committee of the AL Chapter of the American Heart Association. Some of the most recent committees include the State Trauma Committee, the Medical Executive Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee at Baptist Medical Center South and EPIC Risk Management Committee. Dr. Moorehouse most recently was awarded Clinical Instructor of the Year by the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Wallace G. Falero, M.D., FACEP
Regional Director, Montgomery/Prattville
Dr. Falero joined ER Med in 1984. He is board certified by both the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Falero has been instrumental in developing training manual for the residents and successfully implemented clinical pathways at our various Emergency Departments. He serves on several key committees such as the Credentials and Medical Executive Committees and is past Chief of Staff for Baptist Medical County East. Dr. Falero is our Compliance Officer and our Regional Director for Baptist East and Prattvile.

Julio Rios, M.D., MMM, FACEP
Chief Medical Officer, ER Med; Medical Director, Baptist Medical Center, South
Dr. Rios currently serves as Medical Director at Baptist South. Since joining ER Med in 1998, he has proved to be a valuable leader. He is residency trained and Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and holds a Master in Medical Management from Tulane University. He is active in many hospital affairs and serves on multiple medical staff committees including the Credentials Committee, Emergency Department, and Trauma Committee, He spearheaded and directed the ED Task Force that has eventually led to a newly developed Trauma Service at Baptist South. Dr. Rios is also past Chief of Staff for Baptist Medical Center South.

James M. Bradwell, M.D.
Assistant Regional Medical Director
Dr. Bradwell joined ER Med in 2001. He earned his Medical Degree at UAB and completed his training at Carraway Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, where he served as an EM physician from 1999 to 2001 and a Flight Physician for Lifesaver Helicopter for 2 years. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has proven to be a leader since joining ER Med. As EM Medical Director at Prattville Baptist Hospital, Dr. Bradwell formed the Emergency Department Committee that was successful in connecting the ER physicians with nursing and ancillary staff critical to the function of the emergency department. He also championed the formation of the Inpatient Physician Department at Prattville Baptist Hospital. He has worked with hospital administration, and as medical director of Prattville EMS, to coordinate the introduction of the CARE point EMS system. He has received the Outstanding Preceptor Award in Family Medicine Residency Class of 2007 as well as the Good Samaritan Award in Family Medicine Class of 2008.

Vicki Boggs, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Boggs joined ER Med in 2007. She earned her Medical Degree at UAB and completed her residency training in 1990. She is board certified in Family Practice. Dr. Boggs had a successful private practice for 8 years and was Chief- of- Staff at Jackson Hospital from 1997-1998. After selling her practice in 2001, Dr. Boggs began a full-time career in Emergency Medicine as a Staff Physician and eventually Assistant Medical Director. Since joining ER Med, she has served on several committees and now serves as Medical Director at Prattville Baptist Hospital.
