• Dr. Moorehouse has been a member of the medical community for over 25 years, specializing in Emergency Medicine. He is the President of Alabama Emergency Room Administrative Services, P.C., which focuses on providing Emergency Room physicians and management to hospitals.
  
  
• During his career in the medical profession, Dr. Moorehouse has served on many committees including the Trauma Committee at Baptist Medical Center South, the Medical Executive Committee at Baptist Medical Center South and the Strategic Planning Committee at Baptist Medical Center South, to name a few. Dr. Moorehouse also served for several years as the Chairman of the ECC Committee for the Alabama Chapter of the American Heart Association. He is a member of several organizations including, but not limited to, the Alabama College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), the American Medical Association (AMA), the Medical Association of the State of Alabama (MASA) and the Montgomery County Medical Association.
  
  
• While maintaining his full-time position as a physician, Dr. Moorehouse has given back to the community by serving as an ATLS instructor, ACLS instructor, BTLS instructor and an Associate Faculty at the UAB Family Practice and Internal Medicine Residency Programs. He is also the Medical Director for the local Volunteer Fire Department in Montgomery County.
