 Wallace G. Falero, MD, FACEP Senior Medical Director, Baptist Medical Center East
- Dr. Falero earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the Compultense University of Madrid in 1976. In June of 1980 he successfully completed, as Chief Resident, the Family Practice Residency at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.
- Dr. Falero served five years in the United States Air Force as Family Physician and Flight Surgeon. He is board certified in by both the American Academy of Family Practice and the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
- In addition to certification with ABEM and AAFP, Dr. Falero also is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Flight Surgeon's Certification. He has also had the opportunity to supervise and train residents of the Family Practice and Internal Medicine Program, be an instructor for ACLS and teach paramedics and nurses in Emergency Medicine.
- Dr. Falero is our Compliance Officer and our Regional Director for Baptist East and Prattville. Since joining Alabama Emergency Room Administrative Services, P.C., in 1984, he has written and successfully implemented clinical pathways at our various Emergency Departments. Dr. Falero's value and contribution to Emergency Medicine is immense.
